Hartron
is a Nodal Agency for computerization in the State of Haryana. Till Date, computers
and computerization have become part and parcel of almost all major departments
and organizations in the State.
More than 2000 computers have been installed with various State government departments
and organizations through Hartron. These computers and being used for various
jobs ranging from the word processing to generating MIS reports. Hartron has provided
its valuable consultancy to more than 80 State government departments and organizations.

IT
solution Planning: We
have been actively involved in planning the information technology for the entire
state. Hartron has been the sole agency to various State Departments & Corporations,
relating to planning & implementation of IT for their organizations. Hartron
has also prepared a report on the IT Vision Policy & IT Action Plan for Haryana.
Also, for the State-wide Network, which is essential for integrating various State
Government organizations, the corporation is in touch with DOT to establish fiber
optic based network in the State.

Development: The
corporation has a team of highly qualified professionals, who are having experience
in the core technologies like GUI based Development, Image Processing, Data Ware
Housing and Web enabled development. The corporation has a honor of developing
the software for the Election Commission of India. The corporation also has undertaken
a number of prestigious software projects like Haryana Vidhan Sabha, Haryana State
Agriculture Marketing Board, Haryana Housing Board etc.

Web Services:
The corporation is putting thrust on this futuristic
area and has created a team of professionals to
design and develop Dynamic Web Sites. Also there
has been growing emphasis on web-enabled applications
to utilize the potential of web for the interest
of the users. The corporation is using HTML, DHTML,
JavaScript, Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Flash, ASP,
IIS Server, Perl-CGI Scripting & SQL/Oracle for
this development. Hartron has already developed
sites for various boards & corporations of Haryana,
like HVPN, UHBVN, HPGC, SugarFed, etc.

Hardware
& Software Purchases: The
corporation is the sole procurement agency for the entire government. All the
hardware and Software purchases are done through HARTRON and Hartron has established
strategic alliance with hardware and software companies to provide the hardware
and software at very economical prices. The turnover of the corporation has grown
manifolds during the last couple of years. Data Processing: The
corporation is involved in a number of voluminous data processing jobs which include
Identity Card Project,Electoral Rolls, HSEB Billing, SS board data base management,
Excise and Taxation Barriers etc. The Corporation has more than 200 Computers
at its disposal to handle this large volume of data processing jobs. | | |
