Terms and conditions

1.That HARTRON shall release the AMC amount in half yearly installments after completion of successful period of six months and after receipt of the same from the Department.

2. The contract shall be for the period of twelve calendar months commencing from the date of signing the contract mutually extendable for a period to be decided later at the same terms and conditions. The contract can be terminated in between by MD, HARTRON, in case, vendor does not provide quality service. The services of vendor will be reviewed by Head of the Indenting Department/Organisation or senior officer nominated by him.

3. Before allotment of AMC, Vendor will visit all the installation sites to find the defects in the Computers/items and submit the expenditure of one time repair The vendor will make all the Systems/items operational for which AMC is to be allotted within 15 days from the date of placement of order. In the due course AMC contract will be signed between vendor and Indenting Department.

4. The party shall provide the following services as the part of maintenance:-
a). Corrective maintenance in case of a breakdown and repair/replacement of defective parts, if any with the same or reasonably equivalent to the part removed.
b). Preventive maintenance including adjustments, cleaning of mechanical parts, replacement of minor un-serviceable parts (gears, belts, etc.) on quarterly basis.
c) Calls should be attended within 24 hours (one day) of logging the call and should be closed/standby solution should be provided within next 48 hours, whereas the local call should be attended within 4 hours.

5. Provision of maintenance services shall be from Monday to Friday between 9.00 A.M. to 5 P.M. In emergency the services shall be provided by party beyond these hours with prior arrangement without any additional consideration.

6. The party shall post resident engineer with sufficient spare parts at the office of user Department in case order value exceeds Rs.2.00 Lacs. The vendor may have to provide additional man power depending upon the nos. of calls.

7. The contract covers all expenses of the engineer deputed by vendor i.e to & fro, stays, conveyance, etc.

8. This contract will be comprehensive AMC and will include all the parts and operating system support. This contract does not cover consumables like printer head, printer bands, ribbons, floppies, batteries of UPS etc.

9. An up time of 95% shall be maintained by party failing which the contract shall automatically be extended beyond the end of its terms by twice the period for which up time falls shot of 95%.

10. The party shall not be liable for any breakdown/defects arising out of fire, thefts, flood, poor power conditions, and interference by any other party etc.
